I had second chance to listen the "REAL LIFE" tonight on POWER ROCK TODAY(Japanese FM)!!!
It was......just Great!!
Jon sings and Richie's back vocal. All I waited is this!!
They're back!!
We can get the soundtrack "edTV" on April 26th in Japan.
And they'll starts recording in this summer.

NAMM 99 is now over. Unfortunately, Richie couldn't make it. His performance was scheduled at 3:20 on 30th at Tayler's booth with Stuart Smith and some other friends. There were so many people who wanna see Richie there, but he was not there. Performers was waiting for him for a while, but they started playing. What happened to him???? Well, I'm pretty sure something was wrong. Paul Rogers played instead of Richie.

JON BON JOVI and HARVEY KEITEL are set to boost tourism in Malta thanks
to the Mediterranean holiday island's offshore water tanks.
Sea-faring movies such as RAISE THE TITANIC and pirate flop CUTTHROAT
ISLAND have already made use of Malta's famous deep-water tanks - which
allow movie makers to shoot from dry land with an open-sea backdrop.
And now Bon Jovi, Keitel and MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY's latest movie project
- war film U-571 is set to make use of a new underwater facility in Kalkara.
A Maltese Embassy spokesman says, "The tanks have become big tourist
spots because people love to see where and how the big films are shot.
We hope U-571 has the same impact."

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- "U-571," a World War II
suspense thriller produced by Dino and Martha De Laurentiis and written
and directed by Jonathan Mostow began principal photography in Rome,
Italy on January 25. The film stars Matthew McConaughey ("A Time to
Kill," Universal's upcoming "EDtv"), Harvey Keitel ("Pulp Fiction"), Jon
Bon Jovi ("Moonlight & Valentino"), David Keith ("Indian In The
Cupboard") and Jake Weber ("Meet Joe Black"). The film, which reunites
Mostow and the De Laurentiises after their successful 1997
collaboration, "Breakdown," will be shot at Rome's famed Cinecitta
Studios and on the island of Malta and will be released in North America
by Universal Pictures.
In "U-571," a group of Americans are involved in a daring plan to steal
the infamous enigma coding device from a Nazi U-boat in the Atlantic at
the height of World War II. Allied intelligence needs this machine so
that they can decipher enemy movements and stop the incessant wolfpack
attacks on convoys carrying vital supplies across the Atlantic.
Co-starring in "U-571" are Jack Noseworthy ("Breakdown"), Matthew Settle
("I Still Know What You Did Last Summer"), Thomas Kretschmann ("Prince
Valiant"), T.C. Carson ("Livin' Large"), Thomas Guiry ("Lassie") and
Dave Power ("Picture Perfect"). Newcomers Erik Palladino, Derk Cheetwood
and Will Estes are also cast in supporting roles.
The filmmakers will realize the large-scale action sequences of "U-571"
through the use of full-size vessels, which will be put to sea and
engage in the spectacular battle scenes called for in director Mostow's
screenplay. For these sequences, the production crew has constructed a
400-ton, full-sized, sea-going replica of a German type of VII U-boat,
as well as an American submarine from the same time period. Scenes
depicting the interiors of the vessels will be shot on sets constructed
at Cinecitta's largest sound stage, where production designers.
Bill Skinner ("On Deadly Ground") and Geotz Weidner ("Das Boot") have
combined their expertise with Marine Consultant Captain Lance H. Julian
("Titanic") to authentically recreate these fighting machines that were
a key part of World War II.
The producers have assembled a distinguished team of behind-the-scenes
personnel for "U-571," including director of photography Oliver Wood
("Face/Off"), 2nd unit director and stunt coordinator Jim Arnett
("Amistad"), costume designer April Ferry ("Maverick"), visual effects
supervisor Peter Donen ("U.S. Marshalls"), special effects supervisor
Allen Hall ("Cutthroat Island") and line producer Lucio Trentini
("Sheltering Sky"). Hal Lieberman will serve as executive producer of
the film.

I just saw Jon's movie called " Little City" now. It was pretty cool movie and Jon was great as usual. I don't think you can buy it, but you can rent it at Blockbuster or something. Well, I don't know if I can get a badge for NAMM to see Richie yet. Cross fingers for me, everybody!!

ROME ・Capping off a year in which U.S. productions have made a sweeping
return to Italian lensing, Universal痴 big-ticket 填-571・will start
shooting Monday at Cinecitta in Rome, with Dino and Martha De Laurentiis
producing.
溺y last encounter with the press in this studio was for 糎ar and Peace・
in 1954,・said Dino De Laurentiis at a news conference Tuesday to launch
production of the World War II suspense thriller. 的 have to say I知
pleased to be still standing here in the breach with a film as complex
and complicated as 繕-571.・・
Directed by Jonathan Mostow (釘reakdown・and HBO痴 miniseries 擢rom the
Earth to the Moon・, the film was scripted by Mostow, Sam Montgomery and
former U.S. Navy sonarman David Ayer. The cast is headed by Matthew
McConaughey, Bill Paxton, Harvey Keitel, Jon Bon Jovi, Jake Weber and
David Keith.
Targeted for release either in December or early 2000, the pic will
shoot for eight weeks in the Rome studios and a further eight weeks in
open-sea locations off the island of Malta. The $90 million feature is
the biggest production to take up residence on the Cinecitta backlot
since U痴泥aylight・in 1995, which was exec produced by Raffaella De
Laurentiis.
Touching on incidents that occurred during WWII, 填-571・concerns an
attempt by American soldiers to board a German U-Boat and take
possession of an Enigma coding device.
溺y ambition is simply to create a story that can appeal to modern
audiences and give them a taste really of what World War II submarining
was like, as well as some appreciation of the strategic issues that
dominated the Battle of the Atlantic, all in the context of a big,
entertaining Hollywood movie,・said Mostow.
The production estimates an investment in Cinecitta of around $3.5
million, excluding crew costs. Construction has been completed on the
backlot痴 largest soundstage, Studio 5 ・the favored stomping ground of
Federico Fellini throughout his career ・of a 210-foot German U-Boat
replica replete with engine rooms, sleeping quarters, working machinery
and Nazi paraphernalia.

On the MTV in Belgium they really love Bon Jovi. You can see clips of them all the day, I do think they prefer Jon and not the band. Today they took a picture of Jon back in 1998 and they shave his head ( with the computer of course) it was very funny to see Jon without hait? I wonder if it looks the same in reality (hm hm hm I hope not) I'm ashamed to say it but it was ugly. Sorry Jon. bye.

Bon Jovi is one of the few bands in the past several decades that have done the type of music the do best, rather than conforming to what is popular at the moment. Jon Bon Jovi likes to do pure rock and roll, and he does it well! They have staying power despite the fact that they are not one of MTV's "favorite" bands. The are conservative in their views, which is very anti-MTV. MTV seems to worship the lowest of the low when it comes to musical artists, and Jon does not fit the bill. It's too bad though, because Bon Jovi and their music should be played and as a human being, They don't get any better than Jon Bon Jovi. He is true to his fans, and most of all...he is true to his family! That is rare these days...I would like to see more people like him held up to be adored than the likes of Bill Clinton, Madonna, and others like them. Jon Bon Jovi is a great American...He is a great human being!!!!!!!!!!!

Jon Bon Jovi Shooting (Yet) Another Movie
Jon Bon Jovi is in Italy shooting a new movie called "U-571," a WW2
submarine drama directed by Jonathan Mostow and starring Matthew
McConaughey and Harvey Keitel. The filming is taking place mostly in
Malta and Rome and is expected to take about four months. With his
namesake band not due to record until April (see Bon Jovi Reconvenes For
Soundtrack Song) it seems the singer has opted to shelve his plans for
another solo album in favor of the film. Bon Jovi has reportedly gotten
a crew cut for the role.
The singer-turned-actor has been receiving good reviews for his work --
Siskel and Ebert included him in their top 10 list of actors predicted
to 'click' in 1999 -- but so far his movies have not been clicking, at
least not commercially. The film "Little City," shot in San Francisco
late in 1996 with the singer in the starring role is bypassing the big
screen and heading straight to video.
A promising a new film by Edward Burns ("Brothers McMullen," "She's The
One") called "No Looking Back" (once called "Long Time, Nothing New")
with Burns, Bon Jovi and Lauren Holly, was released this past fall with
barely a ripple. The singer also appeared a cameo role for the movie
"Homegrown" with Billy Bob Thornton, another production that failed to
make any waves.
Bon Jovi also recently completed work on an independent production
called "Row Your Boat," with co-stars Bai Ling and William Forsythe, but
that project currently has no distributor and thus no release date.
Although the rocker will be back tending his music career this year, he
does have at least one more pending film venture in the foreseeable
future. He signed on with mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer ("Armageddon,"
"The Rock") back in 1997 for a movie in development tentatively titled
"Love Hurts" centering on a fictional rock band. A spokesperson for
Bruckheimer says that deal is still on, but no dates have been set for
the production.

(1998, Miramax, R, $103.99) Bon Jovi must be trying to challenge
Eric Stoltz as the hardest-working actor in independent film. In
this by-the-numbers relationship comedy, he's one of five
characters seeking romance in San Francisco--breaking up,
getting back together, breaking up again--as often happens in
films like this. Lacking originality and energy, City wastes a
promising ensemble, although Miller enlivens the proceedings
somewhat as the sexually inhibited new girl in town.
Writer-director Roberto Benabib delivers some occasionally
insightful dialogue, but he seems unable to stage a scene

1.7.99 12:00 EST Bon Jovi Reconvenes For Soundtrack Song Jon Bon Jovi
Pop metal veterans Bon Jovi are set to re-enter the scene with a song on
the soundtrack to the movie "EdTV," which due out this Spring. Jon Bon
Jovi, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres and David Bryan wrapped up a tour of
Europe in mid-1996 and announced that they'd be taking a two-year
hiatus.
The group has now reconvened in New York to record a song called "Real
Life" with producer Bruce Fairbairn, the man behind the console for
their most successful album to date, 1986's "Slippery When Wet." A video
for the new tune is to be taped on Friday with famed director Wayne
Isham. "EdTV," a comedy directed by Ron Howard, takes a page from MTV's
"Real World" and delves into the life a video store clerk named Ed,
played by Matthew McConaughey. The cast also includes Jenna Elfman,
Woody Harrelson, and Ellen DeGeneres among many others. The movie is
scheduled for release March 26 with the soundtrack is expected out on
the Warner/Reprise label on March 9. The Bon Jovi song is slated as the
first single. The band took a break to work on solo projects and other
individual endeavors. Singer Jon Bon Jovi recorded a solo album, the
marginally successful "Destination Anywhere," launched a much praised
film career (see "Bon Jovi Inks Another Movie Deal, Sambora Has Baby"),
and remained high profile with multitudes of one-off personal
appearances. Guitarist Richie Sambora also recorded a solo album and
toured to support the record. Drummer Tico Torres staged art shows
around the country while keyboardist David Bryan spent the past year
slowly recovering from a household accident that saw him cut his hand
with a power saw. Reports say he's still not able to play for long
periods of time, but the injury continues to improve. (Bassist Hugh
McDonald, who replaced Alec John Such in 1994, is not considered a
fulltime member of the band). Jon Bon Jovi had originally been writing
songs for another solo album. He told fans at a fan club gathering last
fall that he had eight songs written and that the album's working title
was "Sex Sell," although that was later rumored to have been changed to
"Introspective." He said he hoped to get the solo record out early in
1998, and go into the studio with the full band in April. The Mercury
spokesperson told MTV News that those plans have now been set aside in
favor of a concentrated effort on a new band album. While Fairbairn is
confirmed as recording the soundtrack song, the spokesperson says the
production duties for the Bon Jovi album have not been solidified.
